Faisalabad: Punjab Livestock Secretary Ahmed Aziz Tararr visited the Research Center for Conservation of Indigenous Breeds (RCCIB), Jhang on Thursday.
Additional Secretary Technical Dr Usman Tahir and Director General Production Dr Naeem Kanwar were flanked by him.
Director RCCIB Jhang Dr Aasim Touseef briefed about performance, ongoing development activities and research measures.
Secretary Livestock Ahmed Aziz Tararr also visited the In-Vitro fertilization laboratory operated at RCCIB and inspected available facilities, modern tools and technical capabilities.
He directed to make the ongoing steps for the conservation of local breeds, genetic improvement and promotion of modern reproductive technology more effective.
