Lahore: Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) Chief Executive Officer(CEO), Sheryar Arif Khan on Monday visited Badami Bagh vegetable market to review sanitation arrangements. General Manager(GM) Operations Mubeen Ahsan and Deputy General Manager Anees Janjua accompanied the CEO during the visit.
Sheryar Arif Khan met the market administration and discussed measures to further improve cleanliness inside the market. He directed the concerned town manager to ensure exemplary sanitation arrangements both inside the market and along the main road outside it.
The CEO said, on the directions of the chief minister, special sanitation operations were continuing at all fruit and vegetable markets across Lahore. ‘Providing citizens with a clean environment is our top priority, ‘ he said.
He added that all available resources were being utilized to ensure effective sanitation arrangements across the city.
