Chiniot: The Department of School Education and District Education Authority Chiniot on Thursday organized a Mehfil Milad Mustafa (PBUH) and Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) seminar at Madrasa Al-Banat High School and Government Boys High School to mark 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal, with Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan and DPO Dr. Naveed Atif attending as special guests.
Chief Education Officer Waqas Ahmed Gul, District Education Officers Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed and Muhammad Ismail, Deputy District Education Officers, education department officials, head teachers, teachers and a large number of male and female students also participated in the ceremony. The event commenced with recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by Naat-e-Rasul Maqbool (PBUH), Durood-o-Salaam and expressions of devotion and reverence for the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
On this occasion, the speakers and students highlighted various aspects of the Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH), particularly the Holy Prophet’s exemplary character, teachings of compassion, justice, equality, tolerance and brotherhood, and his role as a mercy for all worlds. A cake was also cut to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), with the deputy commissioner, DPO, education officials, teachers and students participating in the ceremony.
Addressing the gathering, Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan said the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was an ideal example and a beacon of guidance for all humanity, urging people to incorporate his teachings into their practical lives and acquaint the younger generation with his noble values. DPO Dr. Naveed Atif said the Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) provided a practical message of peace, love, tolerance, brotherhood and justice, stressing that students should follow the Prophet’s exemplary life and contribute to promoting harmony and mutual respect in society.
The ceremony concluded with special prayers for the security, stability, progress and prosperity of Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah.
