Lahore: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore celebrated Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm at a ceremony attended by NAB officers, their families, children and distinguished guests.
NAB Director General Mirza Faran Baig participated in the celebrations and addressed the participants, particularly the young attendees. He stressed the importance of unity, integrity, hard work and a strong sense of national responsibility, saying the country’s progress and a better future depended on sincere efforts by every citizen.
The ceremony featured milli songs, speeches and special performances by children, who expressed their love for Pakistan with enthusiasm and confidence. NAB officers and their families also joined the children in singing national songs, creating an atmosphere of patriotism and national pride.
Renowned singer Jawad Ahmed attended the ceremony as a special guest and performed a national song, adding to the festive spirit.
The celebrations concluded with a renewed pledge to uphold the values of patriotism, integrity and service to the nation. The event also reflected NAB Lahore’s commitment to engaging its officers, families and younger generation in activities aimed at strengthening national spirit and fostering hope for a prosperous Pakistan.
