Quetta: Parliamentary Secretary Abdul Samad Gurgaige and Engineer Hadi Askari took out a rally from Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Office to mark the Independence Day on Friday.
Addressing the participants of the rally, Parliamentary Secretary Abdul Samad Gurgaige, Engineer Hadi Askari and others said that the day of August 14 reminds us of the great blessing of Allah Almighty that we received after the sacrifices of the martyrs and the migration of millions of Muslims, Independence Day demands gratitude to Allah Almighty.
They said that our elders made unparalleled sacrifices for independence and obtained the land of Pakistan and gave it to us, now we have to take this country forward, therefore, whoever is there should work tirelessly according to the instructions of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and play his role in the development and prosperity of Pakistan.
Both leaders said that we are fortunate to be breathing in the atmosphere of a free homeland, the vision of Pakistan, which Allama Iqbal had dreamed of for the Muslims of the subcontinent, was realized by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who became the voice of the brave Muslims.
They said that the foundations of Pakistan include the blood of the sacrifices of our mothers, sisters, children, the elderly and the youth. Therefore, today we should never forget the martyrs of August 14, 1947. We should play our important role in the development and prosperity of the country by following the Quaid-e-Azam’s slogan of faith, unity and firm belief because Pakistan is us, we should put aside all our differences and demonstrate unity and solidarity, and keep a close eye on the country’s internal and external enemies so that no one dares to harm the homeland, they noted.
Paying tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the security and defense of the country, they said that the martyrs and Ghazis who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the beloved homeland are our national heroes whose sacrifices are a beacon of light for the entire nation and the nation would always remember these great sons of ours with honor and respect.
