Sindh Governor attends Youth Innovation Challenge 2026 Closing Ceremony


Karachi: The Governor of Sindh Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi attended the closing ceremony of the Youth Innovation Challenge 2026 as the chief guest and distributed cash prizes and gold medals among the top-performing young participants.



Addressing the ceremony, the Governor said that the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme is providing excellent opportunities to young people to transform their creative ideas into practical solutions.



He said that Pakistan’s future lies in the hands of its youth and the country must not only become a nation that uses technology but also one that creates technology. He said that the Prime Minister of Pakistan’s Vision 2047 aimed at laying the foundation for a strong, developed and self-reliant Pakistan.



Nehal Hashmi said that the Youth Innovation Challenge was an excellent platform enabling young people to develop innovative and effective solutions to various challenges and play an active role in the country’s development.



He said special attention was being given to equipping the youth of Sindh with modern technology and digital skills.



The Governor urged young people to continue their efforts and never give up. He said they must work together for one another’s success so that everyone could move forward. He remarked that those who do not accept challenges eventually find themselves challenged by time.



Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Sindh Coordinator Dr. Fahad Shafiq said that the objective was to ensure that the youth of Sindh did not remain merely job seekers but became job creators and effective representatives of Pakistan in the global market.



At the conclusion of the ceremony, Governor Sindh Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi distributed cash prizes and gold medals among the participants, who secured first, second and third positions in the Youth Innovation Challenge.
