Gujrat: Quaid-e-Azam Library of the University of Gujrat (UoG) organized a book exhibition on Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) in connection with Rabi-ul-Awwal. According to university sources, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zahoor-ul-Haq, Tamgha-i-Imtiaz, inaugurated the exhibition and said the study of Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) could play an important role in character-building of younger generation. The exhibition features books on Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) by Eastern and Western authors, besides MPhil and PhD research theses completed at the university. The vice chancellor proposed uploading the research theses on the university website and inviting college students, particularly those studying at intermediate level, to visit the exhibition. He also proposed extending the exhibition until September 30 to provide more students an opportunity to benefit from it. The vice chancellor also proposed establishing a Centre for Human Excellence at the library. Chief Librarian Sheikh Abdul Rasheed said the Kids Centre was being renovated an
d would be reactivated. He said dedicated sections on Seerat-un-Nabi, Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal would also be established at the library.
