Sargodha: Deputy Commissioner(DC) Mianwali, Shahid Abbas Kathia on Monday visited the city and inspected green belts, plantations and cleanliness arrangements along Talagang Road and at Officers Colony.
During the visit, DC directed the Forest Department officials to ensure proper daily maintenance and care of plants and green belts in the city.
Later, the Shahid reviewed cleanliness activities being carried out under the ‘Saaf Suthra Punjab’ program and visited various areas of the city to inspect the ongoing cleanliness drive.
He directed the concerned officials to ensure effective cleanliness arrangements and said that no negligence would be tolerated in this regard.
Shahid Abbas Kathia said the Punjab government was utilizing all available resources for the welfare of the people and development of cities across the province.
