Lahore: A grand Independence Day ceremony was held at Services Institute of Medical Sciences, Lahore.
Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique attended the ceremony as chief guest while Parliamentary Secretary Health Rushda Lodhi was also present at the ceremony. Principal Services Institute of Medical Sciences Professor Zohra Khanum and MS Services Hospital Dr. Rana Khurram Aftab, along with faculty members, doctors and other staff, attended the ceremony.
Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique cut the Independence Day cake and offered special prayers for the development, prosperity and security of the country.
Salman Rafique, while expressing his views said that he congratulates the countrymen on the occasion of Independence Day. “Independence is a great blessing of Allah Almighty. Pakistan was achieved after the eternal sacrifices of elders. Allah Almighty has blessed Pakistan with countless blessings. We all have to play our role for the development, stability and prosperity of Pakistan,” he added.
Parliamentary Secretary Health Rushda Lodhi expressed her pride in being citizens of the beloved country Pakistan. “We will continue to play our role with the same passion for the development and prosperity of Pakistan”.
Professor Zohra Khanum thanked Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique and Parliamentary Secretary Health Rushda Lodhi thanked for their visit.
Dr. Rana Khurram Aftab said that vigorous steps are being taken to create more facilities for the patients coming to Services Hospital and to provide better medical facilities.
